Marilyn

Office Manager

Marilyn is a rescue pup who found her forever family and promptly promoted herself to management. She keeps Temporary Power by Design running with a firm paw and a highly negotiable attention span. Her responsibilities include employee morale, visitor inspections, suspicious noise investigations, and making sure nobody eats lunch unsupervised.

An expert in power naps, Marilyn understands the importance of recharging between demanding assignments. Her management style combines enthusiastic greetings, strategic tail wagging, and sustained eye contact until someone shares a snack. She maintains an open-door policy, provided someone is available to open the door for her.

Marilyn’s compensation package includes treats, belly rubs, and unlimited paid nap time. She reports directly to whoever is holding food and considers every delivery driver a person of interest.

Although her résumé contains no formal qualifications, her references unanimously describe her as “a very good girl.” She remains an essential member of the TPBD team and a much-loved part of the family.
